Kingston University is located across four teaching campuses in and around the student friendly riverside town of Kingston upon Thames. The university benefits from excellent transport links to central London and offers a great mix of relaxing long walks in the two neighbouring royal parks as well as great nightlife.
Kingston University has received a TEF Gold rating, as well as securing a Gold award in the framework’s two new student experience and student outcome categories. Additionally, the university is investing £118m+ in campus development to provide excellent facilities for its students. The new flagship building, Town House, has been named Winner of the EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award 2022 and winner of the 2021 RIBA Stirling Prize for Britain’s Best New Building. The building features a three-floor library, dance studios, covered indoor courtyard, cafes and a rooftop garden offering stunning views across Kingston.
Kingston University’s careers and employability team support students in not only finding a job, but also ensuring they have the skills they need to excel in it through the Future Skills curriculum. Embedded within every course, Future Skills will play a role in shaping students to become future-proof graduates, including teaching skills such as problem-solving, digital competency, and adaptability.
Students can get involved in over 100 sports clubs and societies and better yet, if students are interested in starting their own new society, the Union of Kingston Students is available to help. Students can also take on the challenge of learning a new language through the Kingston Language Scheme, with ten languages on offer and the opportunity to study or work abroad as part of their course.
