Why it’s a great place to study is because it has modern facilities, it has industrial connections and also the lecturers are willing to be there for the students. About improvement I think the school should create a way where students can look out for each other willing

The life-changing University of Sunderland is indeed LIFE-CHANGING! I could remember when I was making my application to study at the University of Sunderland, I was full of uncertainties but having been here for a while, I think I made the best decision of my life. From the state-of-the-art facilities which it boasts of including the modern library (both online and physical), the expert staff who are always willing to help, the university administration and organization, the amazing lecture theatres; even the lovely and welcoming students and student union. The location of the University campuses are the best and couldn't have been situated anywhere better. The courses which they offer to students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are unique and meticulously selected (with amazing module contents I must say) such that the students are well equipped to be the best in the society. The various support networks available in the University to assist students to be the best in their academics, personal, religious and social life including mental health are top-notch and effective. A lot of activities are periodically organized for the students by the student union and various associations and societies such that there is never a dulling moment in student life. The periodic job fares, indoor and outdoor games and diverse events being organized at the CitySpace and other locations in the various University campuses are quite thoughtful, engaging and effective in impacting the lives of students and creating a positive experience. To me, the University of Sunderland is not just life-changing, it is both the University of the Moment and the Institution of the Future. Thank you the life-changing University of Sunderland for giving me an opportunity to have this beautiful experience while being your student.

Great Underrated University with flexible learning; nice, smiling and positive staff. From the admission was straight forward, very efficient and not time wasters, I'm glad I could join and start my learning journey with them (I'm enrolled for BSc Computing). The programme compared with other universities is very comprehensive of blended content both for practical and theory. The lecturers are qualified, clean english speakers and many of them with PHDS done in multiple countries, making the content for learners to stimulate positively. I wish I could have same treatment and quality of contents from the previous university! Suggestions: some workshops for quantum programming, robotics with arduino and raspberry. PS. they got already java, python and maths workshops which are very nice and additional to get confidence into the subject. Everything is great anyways from my point of view!

Since the university is so centrally located, there are so many things to do within a 10-20 minute walk, whether it is going to the library, bank, parks, market, or the Quayside. The student support is great. There are a lot of resources available to get help from when you are facing difficulties with your academics or personal life. There is a ton of flexibility and alternative arrangements for assessments and exams. The Student Union is insanely active. Lots of activities organized every week, with a ton of promotion on social media, so you always know what's happening on and off campus.

It’s so fun to study here as it’s right in the city centre and there’s so much to do as a student. Student union put on loads of free things like free food, toiletries. Improvement would probably just be more sport funding for better facilities or ones to be closer. For example it costs a lot to go to the nearest astros and pitches.

The best aspects of my Uni experience is expanding my network and meeting new people. There are so many opportunities and chances to go to events where you can really put yourself out there in the best way possible and meet some really interesting people! The worst aspects of my uni experience would most likely be waking up early in the mornings to get to my 9am seminars on time. But once im there, its not so bad and there are others in my seminar group that are in the same situation as me and can relate so at least im not waking up at 7am on my own!

It is all based on a hill so for someone with low mobility it can be hard to get around. However, everything else is great. The facilities are beyond anything I've ever imagined. The library is a great area to study in

Best- the student life and vibe of the uni Worst- The timetables aren’t organised well because the lectures and seminars are spaced out so much that i have to schedule around these times which is inconvenient

My university is a great place to study in the central city. The city has no improvement, and the university is all good. As I am a commuter student from a town to city by train. The facilities are updated to date and suitable. The location is good. The student support is excellent. The campus look and feel are good, and they have updated the university's rebranding. The student life is good, and my friends are great. There is not much social student life in the city as a commuter. The students' union is good and they have move students' union back on campus.
