Best- the student life and vibe of the uni Worst- The timetables aren’t organised well because the lectures and seminars are spaced out so much that i have to schedule around these times which is inconvenient

Having online class sometimes it becomes hard because of the internet connection, hard to understand the new programs etc... but other than that it being also great that having those problem it was a issue to not stop us completing our work.

One of the best aspects of my university experience has been the opportunity to engage with a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about technology and innovation. The campus offers a variety of extracurricular activities that have enriched my social and academic life. However, a notable drawback is the fact that the course content for my program is not accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS), which raises concerns about the recognition of my degree in the professional field. Additionally, the courses offered under the applied artificial intelligence umbrella have not met my expectations. The content often lacks depth and fails to cover the latest advancements in AI that are critical for a comprehensive understanding of the subject. For improvement, I would suggest the university seek BCS accreditation, which would not only enhance the credibility of the program but also assure students of meeting a recognized standard of education in computer science. Moreover, a curriculum overhaul for the AI-related courses is necessary to incorporate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for the demands of the industry. Engaging with industry professionals to update the course materials could be a way forward to bridge the gap between academic theories and real-world applications.

Its great to have a course which is not offered by many Universities something that provides an opportunity for in-depth learning and specialization in a particular field of study like in my case with Fashion Branding and communication. Since University life has started, as an international student you do face a lot of problems, whether it be cultural barrier or change of place but provided the right amount of support often helps with increased independence. It definitely has been a time of significant personal growth. A chance to gain a deeper understanding of myself and my values. Networking has also been a huge part of my entire uni life so far, having professors, from actual industries has helped us gain a lot of firsthand knowledge from their personal experiences and not just theory thats been taught. Meeting fellow students, and professionals in various fields. Networking opportunities have been very valuable for future my career endeavors. Financial Burden would be the only thing that stresses everyone a little, especially for someone whos completely new in the country until they find a job that suits them, it does get different to bring basic food to uni everyday and if the food provided in the cafeterias in uni would be a little cheaper. that would make life easier for a lot of students.

I found Oxford Brookes University a great opportunity to study interesting modules, having simultaneously the possibility to do interesting activities such as field trips in Oxford and London. I have free a lot of free time that allows me to do what I love the most, sport. I would prefer if Brookes University offered us more opportunities of Exchange Study Abroad and more field trips around UK.

I think the uni campus facilities & attitudes of Professors makes it a glorious enjoyable place to study in. However, some aspects could be consider like the time table choice. When anyone can't get in touch with any of friend It's really miserable and It's sometimes reduce the interest to the involvement of uni campus because, a person can't really make it enjoyable alone or totally with a new Peer. Another problem that I personally faced that the huge classrooms with a huge number of students. As a classroom only runs by one teacher or professor it is really tough to get the lecture lessons because lecturers not always involve to all sides of Auditorium, most of time stick to one portion of students and I think its pretty much tough to them as well to connect to all. Consequently many students can't catch the lessons despite Being in classroom.

The University is set in an area of Glasgow that has a magical feeling about it. Knowing you are walking the same paths as some of the most influential characters that have helped shape the world we live in today is an honour and privilege. It is inspiring and can be a motivator to think of the former students who studied at this amazing institution. I am often overcome with imposter syndrome, though I quickly remind myself how hard I worked to obtain a place at the University of Glasgow. The sheer size of the university can be challenging, especially if you only have a short period of time to get from one end of the campus to the other. So for those who may have mobility issues I think having electric buggies for those less able to get around would be helpful to them.

What makes my uni a great place to study is their student support. They try to help their students in any way possible to ensure that students get the best out of their education. I think it would be better if the university put more effort into societies and clubs such as sporting clubs and teams . It would help the university to have more of a community and really showcase other talents other than what students already study on their courses. My university do have societies and some sporting teams, however some of the societies don’t run anymore and it’s not made to be as big as it was when I first heard about it before I joined uni. I think it’s important to have that feel of community and university culture and to also show the inclusiveness of different cultures, groups and activities in which people associate them selves with.
