Studying sports science

On a sports science degree, you’ll learn how the human body works during exercise and how sport and exercise affect the physical and mental health of athletes. During the degree, you’ll probably touch on various areas of study, like physiology, anatomy and psychology, covering topics like nutrition, biomechanics, performance psychology and sports rehabilitation. Once graduated, you’ll be able to consider a range of careers in the sports performance industry, such as performance analyst, sports psychologist, sports scientist and personal trainer.
