A sociology degree will teach you all about how a society works, why governments act in the manner that they do and why particular societal norms are in place. You will learn all about how people behave within the society they live, how the society came to be and how it can develop. You will be required to think both critically and evaluatively. Those who graduate with a sociology degree enter a variety of different work, such as law, journalism, education and social work.
