MA Visual Communication

University rating (4)

Amazing support from most members of staff. Daphne Oram could be less clinical and museum-like and some buildings could be modernised from the outside. But overall I’m very comfortable in this environment and would always recommend the university

Film Production BA (Hons)

University rating (5)

Canterbury is a great location to study especially for students from the European continent. The campus is beautiful, open and friendly, a place where one can study peacefully and securely. Difficult were the administrative steps I had to take while still in Germany, when I did my Abitur (German A-Level equivalent), and couldn’t do it face-to-face. But generally the support the university gave here were excellent.

THIRD YEAR

Physical Education and Sport and Exercise Science BSc (Hons)

University rating (4)

The University is generally great, lecturers are good, friendly and knowledgable and campus, library, and town are a great place to study and live generally, Canterbury is probably one of the nicest areas in Kent. But theres a higher proportion of mature students so its not top tier for 'student life' if your into all that. Theres a fair amount of students that really aren't too fussed about their studies but since joining the grade boundaries have raised so that may change.

Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science BSc (Hons)

As a whole the uni is great, the facilities are top class, and the staff support is unbeatable. The student union has a club or a sport for everyone.

MBA International

University rating (5)

My uni life is better because of the handy online facilities I am getting including the serene environment of my campus. It could be improved by maintaining the employability chance better during the study time. As an international student has to face many challenges to get part-time jobs here in Canterbury during this time of shortage of job opportunities.

Paramedic Science BSc (Hons)

University rating (1)

Really good for its links to placement opportunities and SECAmb, but overall a very disorganised and poorly led course, with an absent and non-responsive faculty consistently demonstrating poor levels of communication and insufficient feedback. Overall I would not recommend this university as a first choice to study anything, it is best avoided. If I could give it 0 stars I probably would.

Biomedical Science MSci

Verena holmes has 2 large public areas, one on the second floor with the cafe and another on the 3rd floor. These areas in the building give lots of space with comfy chairs and tables to chill out and study. It’s calm and comfy!
