About the course

Our aim is to advance the understanding of one of the last frontiers of science – the brain and nervous system. Our research unites different scientific disciplines. This allows us to combine approaches and technologies for the benefit of society.Studying with us, you’ll learn from experts in:- Sussex Neuroscience, which is one of the largest and most interconnected neuroscience communities in the UK with over 50 research groups on campus- the School of Psychology, which is one of the UK’s largest schools of psychology with passionate academics in a wide range of areas.On this course, you’ll:- gain an understanding of biological systems and psychology, from molecular biology and cell biology, to social psychology and cognition- investigate molecular and cellular neuroscience, systems neuroscience, computational neuroscience, disorders of the nervous system and clinical psychology- put your skills and knowledge into practice by joining one of our leading research teams and investigating major research questions.Our range of options offers you the opportunity to tailor your course to your interests and career plans
