Services at the university include both academic and personal support, which is available as and when it’s needed. This includes health and wellbeing services, support with study skills, financial guidance, an on-site medical centre and a chaplaincy service.
The university has its own dedicated support team for students, called the Nest. This service offers a range of support options in person and online, so that students can get the help they need with any aspect of their student lifestyle. Students will be able to focus on their studies and achieving their best, thanks to the range of resources provided.
The wellbeing team provide a free and confidential counselling and advice drop-in service during weekday afternoons. Students will also be allocated an academic guidance tutor who can be approached with any concerns. The students’ union has a free academic advice centre, which offers impartial advice to students on any academic issues from complaints to exam appeals.
