Diagnostic Radiography BSc (Hons)

University rating (4)

Location is ideal if you travel by train, as the train station is literally on the door step of the uni! The main campus is large, split over 2 sites across the train tracks, health and clinical courses are taught at the Mary Seacole and allerton buildings. Both very well equiped and large enough to accommodate the large cohort. Amazing facilities including xray and CT machines. The library is always open and loads of small quiet places to stay, socialise and study. This is a big campus and can be over whelming, however this is helped by good planning of rooms and common rooms across both campuses.

University of Salford is a great university, the induction and registration process is seamless. I love the campus atmosphere and experience most especially the library. The academic staff and lecturers have been amazing.

THIRD YEAR

Mechanical Engineering BEng (Hons)

University rating (4)

The best aspects of uni experience is joining a society that’s would be based from your course for example I’m a member of salford racing society and it partially related to my course because there’s is design engineering and manufacturing involved which is useful. Also this is as close as you can get when it comes to working in a high intensive working environment so the people around you are friendly , good vibes and supporting you on and off course. The worst aspect of uni was the student support overall. Some modules can give you support to the best where you needed. Others which mostly wouldn’t necessarily give you guidance and support and tries to do it on your own especially on the last year which I came back from the COVID period which makes it difficult, but it is slowly improving over time and I pray it gets better for future generations to come

Adult Nursing with a Health Care Foundation Year BSc (Hons)

University rating (5)

The best aspect is that I get to meet new people and form new friendships. Worse aspect could include the way some teachers strike but don't let you know in advance.
