I have always felt welcomed at Middlesex University, since the application process, enrolment and student support. I can feel that the staff and my tutors hear my voice and want to nourish me to grow. The facilities offered at Middlesex University attracted me to apply and kept me studying here. It is not easy to find such a wide range of workshops, high-standard equipment and materials within one university campus in the middle of London and Middlesex has that. As a second-year Sport Rehab student at Middlesex University, my experience has been rewarding. However, managing time becomes crucial, especially for students residing in the accommodation, where the diverse international community fosters numerous friendships.
As I am currently in my 3rd year at Middlesex University, I have experienced many great milestones. Having amazing teachers which have been able to push me to do better in terms of critically thinking and facilitating a safe learning environment where we feel heard and where we can collaborate with our peers to come up on ideas with campaigns and how this would be so similar to doing this at a real life job. From 2nd year, they also incorporate careers sessions where we talk about graduate competencies, how to deal with the different assessments. Apart from this, Middlesex University ensures that we as students are well taken care of especially with these times we are living in. The wellbeing team has been really helpful. I am so grateful with the space they have given us to flourish and prepare for the real world.
