Scholarships and funding
Swansea University offers a wide range of undergraduate scholarships. Awarded for both merit-based and needs-based criteria.
Academic Scholarships
Students achieving AAA at A-Level (or equivalent) will be awarded an Excellence Scholarship worth £3,000 over three years. A Merit Scholarship is awarded to any student achieving AAB at A-Level (or equivalent), worth £2,000 over three years.
Welsh Scholarships
For students who wish to study part of their course through the medium of Welsh, there are a high number of courses eligible for Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol scholarships and Academi Hywel Teifi scholarships and bursaries.
Sport Scholarships
The university offers scholarship package of up to £2,000 each year to several undergraduate students who demonstrate outstanding ability and an ongoing commitment to their sport.
International Scholarships
Each year the university awards several scholarships, worth up to £,000 over two years, to international students who demonstrate academic excellence. Scholarships are granted as a tuition fee discount.
