This degree in Software Engineering provides the technical skills and knowledge to design, create, operate and maintain software systems.

Throughout this Software Engineering degree, you will work with cutting-edge technologies and master a wide range of architectures, programming languages, software engineering formalisms, methodologies and tools. The practical components of the course will develop your skills and confidence through hands-on experience of the latest technologies and programming techniques.You will develop professional, management and team-working skills, and solve problems using analytical techniques. Not only will you keep up with the rapidly and constantly evolving world of software engineering, you'll also shape it as your career develops. By the end of the course, you will be equipped to deal with demands of enterprise application development and high-level software management.The University of Greenwich has a long-standing relationship with the British Computer Society (BCS), which accredits our computing degree programmes. Our current BCS accreditation includes the intake up to 2024. The re-accreditation is expected to be confirmed in Autumn 2024 for the 2025 intake onwards.
