Our Human Resource Management degree provides a practical and analytical understanding of business and management while allowing you to develop knowledge and understanding in the specialist area of human resources. The integration of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) modules will ensure students choosing this pathway have a clear understanding of the requirements of the professional body within this discipline.
Modules will include key business disciplines such as finance, human resource management and professional development but will also include discipline-specific modules, Leading and Developing People and Managing Employee Relations. Skills such as project management, entrepreneurship, creativity, coaching, mentoring, critical thinking and communication will be integrated in the modules.
The human resource modules incorporate the fundamentals of the discipline aligned with the CIPD professional qualifications. They will provide you with a clear understanding of the way in which an organisation can create value through its people.
You will increase your understanding of organisations, their management, the economy and the business environment and prepare for, and develop, a potential management career through the acquisition of a range of specific business knowledge and skills, together with improved self-awareness and personal development.
