GET PROSPECTUSThere are many different levels of qualification at Manchester Met, and a wide range of subjects to choose from. Exact course requisites vary, so prospective students are advised to check the admission requirements on the university website for their chosen course before making an application.
Manchester Met typically makes offers based on the UCAS point tariff system. Students who are aiming to study for an honours degree will usually need to be studying three A-levels or acceptable alternatives, such as the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (1080). Students aiming to study a degree with a Foundation Year will typically need to complete two A-levels, or an accepted equivalent.
Students for whom English is not their first language will also need to demonstrate a minimum level of proficiency before the start of their course. Applicants must achieve IELTS 6.0, with no less than 5.5 in any component, and some courses may require even higher scores than this, so it is encouraged to check the subject-specific course pages fully.

Standard undergraduate course tuition fees for UK and Channel Island students, in the 2024/25 academic year, are:
2024/25 entry (full-time) - £9,250 per year
2024/25 entry (part-time) - £2,312.50 per 30 credits studied per year
Standard undergraduate course tuition fees for International students are normally set between £18,500 and £20,000, depending on the course.
