BA Politics and Modern History

University rating (4)

Best - Good location close to the city centre. Plenty of buses pass through Oxford Rd however during busy times they do fill up quickly. Worst - DASS (Disabled Student Support) have been really disappointing, they made me a support plan before I arrived but a lot of this did not get followed until I chased it up myself. Trying to get in contact with them feels near impossible and getting extra support for university presentations has taken months and one of the presentations has already passed despite contacting DASS weeks prior.

Geography with International Study BA (Hons)

University rating (4)

The campus is always busy so you will always run into people you know. There are a lot of different buildings to study in, but the best are often overcrowded. The best aspect of studying here are the people you meet. It has made it a far greater experience than I had previously imagined.

French and Spanish BA (Hons)

I think that the university has many amazing aspects like the student union, however I do believe that the academic writing help and essay writing help workshops would have been useful but due to Covid we didn’t get to experience the same, and I feel like my writing has suffered as a result.

The best part is the students union they are extremely helpful but the actual institution is awful, they do not offer enough support for students and the facilities could greatly be improved for example the library and having more study spaces on campus
