It’s a great place to study because as a campus uni it doesn’t feel too overwhelming and the facilities are all within walking distance. The student community is strong, with a lot of fantastic societies where you can meet so many different people, although I feel like the SU could do more to be relatable and appealing to students.

I tend to have 3 hours of in class contact per module per week, and I have 3 modules a term so it amounts to 9 hours in class per week which feels just right. It is evident the professors care about the students, they reply to emails very quickly and get to know you on a personal level, because of how small the course is. The course content is fascinating and feels truly applicable to any creative career I might pursue in the future - the blend of theory, industry and practice is ideal. One day I could be learning how to use a film camera and sound equipment the next I’m studying the origins of creative organisations and meeting industry professionals.

I personally like the university for its location and huge campus. It is also well ranked with great teaching for my course.
