I think the University is great but lacks things such as a student club. There was also minimal support for first years during covid.

Even when COVID restrictions were lifted, I didn’t meet people on my course until 3rd year as little in person sessions were run. I have also had minimal contact with my tutor across all 3 years so would see improvements in that area need to be met.

I think halls on campus allow you to meet more people but the rooms and facilities in Dagfa were great.

The campus itself is really nice to study on as it’s very green and removed from the city. The libraries have great facilities and are ideal for quiet study. There are great societies to get involved in such as the wild swimming society as well as lots of sports.

The majority of my course is now in person which is ideal and incorporates different aspects of lectures, labs and field trips. There are no seminars which could help hear other peoples ideas.

Dagfa is a very good accommodation the staff were helpful when we had a problem with overheating in the top flat.
