U.W.E, when properly explored can be known to be a home away from home. It has a sense of community within its community which i find very favourable to me. It is one of the most diverse university i could find when i was searching for university in the U.K. As an international student who has left home, the facilities has given me the latest view on industry work and hopefully will be able to apply my skills in real world problems. I honestly feel that the societies could be greatly improved. The societies especially the past two years have not really been engaging. I understand its not the universities job but the people who run for it, but I feel U.W.E can do something regarding this.

As a Civil Engineering student, I was able to take part in a number of field trips. Although interrupted due to covid, the university was still able to give me the experience even without physically going there. I was able to practically engage in the course, which I honestly prefer compared to the theoretical aspect of Civil Engineering, But its Engineering. I think the worst aspect is of the course is probable the time of some lectures. Its not really a complain, but then waking up or a 9 a.m lecture at 6a.m because you live far from U.W.E. DUE TO THE LACK OF ACCOMODATION WITHIN THE CAMPUS is really frustrating at times.

I like the location of the accommodations as it is situated right on campus. I can easily go to class from my accommodation and come back to eat when a break is provided between class. When you also have the "perfect" housemates, it can also really improve the experience of campus life. when I say perfect, I don't mean they are clean and tidy, although that wont be to bad, but I mean outgoing and wanting to partake in activities as a flat. I guess the one major aspect of campus life that every student goes through that they absolutely hate is fire alarms. You sleeping 2a.m in the morning just to be woken up by a fire alarm set off my accident by your flat mate or another flat. It get really frustrating.
