So far, the experience has be wonderful and I’ve loved the city and atmosphere to the core.

This was my best decision ever. As an international student I had problems to adapt to a new environment but quickly find new friends at uni and lecturers were very helpful as well. With a huge amount of resources and help from university that was available not only in person but also online. I didn’t had any problems of understanding my material and managed to have a social life as well. Overall, this was my best year of my life and I just can’t wait how this one will turn out!

They could be better, but the management school is just perfect. We have a room full of high quality equipment where we can spend a lot of time to polish for example out “Bloomberg” skills. The libraries are always full of books and places to study so even in the exam period there is a space for everybody. This year university bought many new expensive laptops which was a nice surprise. Only thing is that some of the building are old so the classrooms are not as high standard like the ones in management school which is a pity.

I got not a perfect tutor who probably wouldn’t even recognize me in a room of students. He is new and not experienced but I heard he is a huge help to my International friends from Asia. In my first year I had few problems with financing but thanks to university student support office everything went smoothly and I manage to get into my second year. So yeah very helpful.

I don’t really get involved as I believe there are people for it. My university share many information on social media so I just keep up to date and if something interest me then I decide to engage.

The city life is just perfect. Liverpool is such an affordable and student friendly place that I would recommend it to everyone. There are a lot of museums, restaurants, shops, bars and parks that just keep me away for studying. The city is great and even if the weather is not nice, there is plenty to do.

I am a member of committee of one of the society and I can’t say a bad world. We have many rooms for meetings, high quality equipment like the one in cinema room, discount on pizza (who doesn’t like pizza) and many friendly staff to help out any time we would need anything.

I like that we are encouraged to do something above studying. Like participating in workshops about culture or future possibilities like placement. The thing I don’t like is that the classes are usually the same - siting in a class and listening to the lecturer. Don’t get me wrong but it would be better if a part of our course would be to go outside the campus - maybe to an company and learn from our future environment. In order to get “on hands” experience.

University of Liverpool provides excellent employability opportunity not only on campus but also helps students in a designated area called “career studio”. We can ask there about our Cv, polish ours skills in workshops or just pop up and see if there are any opportunities for students. The also post them online so anyone can access them which is great. Moreover, there are a lot of visitors that provide talks and engage in networking which ten leads to better employment possibilities.
