A lovely university set in a gorgeous town full of history. The lecturers are helpful and the campus just feels like home from week one. I believe this university is full of life and there is always something to do, in town or on campus, and always someone there to listen.

The University of York is a very safe and friendly environment. The city and campus are beautiful, and the opportunities offered are brilliant. The course is really interesting but is still mostly online, so it was very difficult to make connections with other students on my course and some people are struggling to stay motivated due to the lack of staff contact,

The course is really interesting, but it is still mainly taught online which makes it really difficult for some people to stay motivated. We are only in person about 8-10 hours a week which isn't what we were told the course would be like when we applied. We do have good contact with our tutors, but the lecturers seem quite distant, and we don't have much contact with them.

The security and maintenance services are excellent. The helpdesk for our college is open 24 hours and is always helpful. The only issue is the distance to any food shops, they are a 30-minute minimum walk away.
