Liverpool Hope is a brilliant university to study at as it has all the facilities necessary, excellent support whenever needed and a stunning campus. Most staff on campus are very welcoming and happy to provide whatever help they can. The only issue I personally have with it is that it is a university that is located out of town and therefore a bit further to travel to, but this is outweighed by the fact that it is a campus university and all the classrooms, libraries, gym facilities and student union are all in the same place which is very convenient.

My course is taught with the students as the priority. The lecturers are always happy to assist any student's learning and consistently provide good quality lectures with appropriate contact hours outside of them.

The halls were perfectly placed for first year students being just a stones throw away from all lecture halls and classrooms. In a shared accommodation between 11 people there were 3 bathrooms (which was plenty), 1 spacious kitchen and 1 spacious communal area. There were cleaners every weekday that did a good enough job. The halls were adequately equipped with the essential items upon arrival (toaster, kettle, ironing board + iron, vacuum cleaner, etc.). The university were very poor with sorting out some problems that us students had though. Our sofas became faulty out of usual wear and tear and as a result the university split the cost of two new sofas between the halls residence rather than taking on the cost themselves. This went against their contract regulations and I took them to later stages of complaint forms to attempt to get this resolved but they refused. All in all I would highly recommend halls of residence in Liverpool Hope as long as you don't damage anything!

It has been a really good experience! Enjoyed a lot of aspects of uni. The best advice you can give any freshers is to join a society and get to know more people on the uni aswell as your house mates and course mates

Academically the feedback is generally good could have more one on one contact after an assessment. Personal is available is you need it

I like the way sport psychology is very interactive so it is more engaging compared to psychology lectures

They have careers centre which allows you to get the help you need to go into school placement. But not particularly give you work placement in your degree
