The campus is very central in leicester with the town centre just down the road with chopping centres like the highcross and market. The sport facilities aren’t the best however the coaches are really good at what they do and know what they’re talking about when it comes to improving for whichever sport it may be.

There is lots of support for students with less mathematical backgrounds coming from school/college and the workshop areas have a lot of technology with helpful technicians. Lecturers tend to be very happy to give help and advice in most topics with some being more helpful than others.

New wharf is in the perfect location for uni students. It is a 5 minute walk from campus and the town centre and less than that to get to the Large Tesco for weekly food shops. It is also located right along the canal which guides the river soar through leicester which has lots of wildlife. opposite New wharf is the QEII Leisure center which has a Gym, a swimming pool and multiple sports halls. All of the kitchens are spacious and have lots of storage areas for cutlery and plates etc however there isn’t much fridge and freezer space. My only two issues with new wharf are that there isn’t a common area for people to go to and that the bike store isn’t very secure as i had my bike stolen within the first month of going to uni. so if you have a nice bike don’t bring it or if you do make sure it’s very secure with multiple D locks etc.

Sustainability at its peak, green campus with a clear feature of climate and net zero prospects. A university with the best career advice team and outstanding lecturers with whom I am well pleased. Well diverse and multiculturally inclined to suit your comfort and gives you home away from home. A university where your voice counts. My DMU!!! MY PRIDE De Montfort university can only work on ways to create a more balanced lecturer and student relationship by enabling a compulsory time to meet with lecturers for discussion and reviews.

Energy Engineering a department that is barely 3years but with so much content and deliverables. Experienced lecturers and a very cordial relationship with tutors. I think this course should be well organized as the modules should be looked at and reshuffled. Research methods are thought to some people at the second term which I think is not ok, it should be taught on entry as most of our assignment are literally written based. This affected me as I did not understand more about written and research work and I started doing assignment on it which caused me. Too bad.

My uni as right at the city center, close to train station and bus station. Full of stores and shopping malls. One can get parttime jobs easily and walkdown to your hostel in short distance. The hulls are so close to the university, and you don't need to walk a long distance. It's a lively location with so much night life and clubs around for your relaxation. Its so lovely

I sincerely love everything about the hull, from the rooms which is so exquisite, the hull keepers, the kitchen and lounge, very lovely. I don't regret staying there at all, my money was worth the value.
