I have loved my university experience, due to the amazing people I have met. It has shown me how valuable independence is! I have surprisingly enjoyed the studying, I finally feel confident in my abilities. I would recommend everyone to go to uni, experience it. You get more than just a degree at the end of it, you grow, you learn and you find yourself.

They are good , there's three main libraries dotted around Brighton that students have access too. Studying media, they have lots of equipment and devices for students to use at any time.

Really good, I always receive emails and updates about my course frequently. I have a good relationship with my tutors, which makes it so much easier to talk about my work and get feedback. They really care about your mental health, they offer lots of workshops or 1:1 meetings for anyone who needs it.

It is not great, I have never been to any student union event. This is due to lack of anything being organised, there is not a bar/club on campus. They do provide a microwave and pingpong table in a random room on campus though!

No, I am based in Falmer, which is a good 35/40 min bus journey from Brighton town centre. There are no local supermarkets to walk to, you have to pay for a bus or get a taxi!

It is a very proactive university, lots of physical sports to get involved with.

I like the interactive seminars, most of my tutors are very helpful and really support you with your ideas. Some can be very dull, where they will just go through a powerpoint, and talk at you for 2 hours.

I have personally reached out myself to discuss this matter, if i did not reach out myself i dont think the uni would until you are in final year.

Struggled at first with actually going into university to attend my lectures and with living alone but have slowly started to get used to the change and the university life

The university offers a wide range of facilities with just about everything a student could need on campus

Counselling is offered and is easily accesible Feedback and 1 on 1 tutorials are offered which helps students get a better grade on there essays and exams

The library and lounges offered at both campuses are useful and are a good representation of the university

Both campuses are easy to get to via a frequent bus service, student housing and halls are close to all campuses

There could be a wider range of societies that appeal to my interests more

I like the amount of engagement I am able to have with my lecturers as it helps me to get a better grasp and confidence in my modules. I dislike the fact that the lectures are not always recored and never filmed and put online so I can watch them again out of hours which will help me study

Work placements are offered and there is a helpful careers department that I have used which has already helped my understanding of where to go after university
