I think given the circumstances, York has done an excellent job at making us feel included and as valued a student as anyone else despite not being on campus. I have learned more this year than I did in my three years at my previous university, due to the excellent teaching and engagement

I can’t give a comment on this as due to covid sadly I haven’t been able to visit campus which is of course disappointing

I have received many personal emails regarding mental health support when I have asked for extensions on assignments, signposting me to useful resources

The course has obviously been a bit different to how I imagined it would be when I applied due to covid, but one of my lecturers in particular went above and beyond to make sure our course was still excellent value for money by giving up a lot of her time to create innovative learning activities to supplement the content. I would give 5 however I feel that on one or two modules in the management school (the course is taught across two modules) the support could have been a lot better

I do receive many emails regarding job opportunities and links to sign up to seminars

the yusu and accommodation have been great at putting on events, as well as my departments! but there is a lack of plug sockets in lecture theatres and and lack of study spaces

Course has been a bit challenging to get into as I havnt done anything like this but the problem solving learning style is really interesting, although sometimes you get people who aren't willing to have a discussion

My room was dirty when I arrived, but the college have been good at fixing things or adding things that weren't there, the location is perfect for campus but a bit far from town but the college have been great with events
