The classes are close, the library is great, the friends made are important. The course content is perhaps too much for the time given, and maybe too many assignments due to close times. There should be a place in our building to heat up food, make coffee etc between a class instead of having to buy from the shop

some course content is very tricky, but since time is precious not enough time to given to it. But overall very good and interesting. Most lecturers are good and respond quickly

I am an international student who got a placement at a pharmaceutical company in Ireland. My school did a good job in finding placement opportunities for us students. However, they do not give any support whatsoever on regards my visa in Ireland when my placement provider does not have a clue how the visa is going to work as it is their first time hiring a student from my University. It leaves a very bad reputation to my placement provider on how helpless my school can be. It was a very stressful and frustration situation to be in when no one knows the answer to anything. Nevertheless, Queen's has provided me a lot of opportunities in the industry like I was able to join IAESTE India during my 1st year of uni to get involved in R&D. While for 2nd year, I was able to join an EIT food competition that was organised by EIT food and Nestle to compete with other two universities from Switzerland and Germany. And for final year, I was able to get my placement in one of the biggest pharmaceutical company. So I am really grateful for that!

Worst aspects of my course would be how arrogant and helpless some lecturers can be. Some of them are just straight up rude and call one of my classmates dumb in front of the whole class while he just have a hard time understanding his question due to language barrier. Some of them do not reply emails or have been skipping lectures or finding any type of excuses just to not come to lectures. Best aspects would be the modules provided by the course is very interesting and challenging. They have prepared us well for the work industry as promised !

The hall is definitely perfect for first year student as it is a big house containing 15 people living inside. All the bills have been included which is perfect as well. The hall is kept really clean as well by the cleaning professionals every week. I had problems with one of the housemates as shes partying all night for several times, not cleaning after used, stealing peoples food and etc. And I brought this issue up with the management team and they came and talk to me at night, on the same day of complaint! the management team is very very efficient ! No bad reviews on uni's hall
