I haven't been on the course very long as I have just started first year but I am amazed by what I have learnt already, the course is very fast paced and the tutors push you hard to succeed. I am really impressed by the teaching of computer skills. Every Thursday we have two hours learning the basics of photoshop, indesign and sketch up. This is important because we use digital programmes a lot as part of our outcomes for presentations and portfolio. I started the course with very little knowledge on these software programmes so I feel much more confident in them now with the help of the teachers.

I am an older mature student who used to go to Truro design college. However I have recently moved to Falmouth University to further study an Interior Design degree and I feel that this was the best decision for me. In particular the student support for disabled students like myself is really strong. I feel welcomed and comfortable here. Make sure that you know about the DSA support if you are planning on coming here, this will help you out enormously.
