Throughout my course I have always felt so supported. They really make an effort to make sure you know how to reach out when you need it whether it is extra academic support or emotional, financial support etc. Library is great for doing work on computers and there is a great book selection in the library. Areas which can be improved - there are some run down buildings, particularly inside. However, I don't feel in disrupts learning in anyway.

The lecture content is so interesting and engaging and I love how you can tailor the degree to your interests right from first year. Lots of tutor time in year 1 which is great but they have no sessions in year 2 which I think we should meet with our tutors around three times throughout the year just to catch up and ask any pressing questions particularly general queries about dissertations ideas and placements.

Great location to the university campus as they have a bridge straight to campus. Lots of storage space in the dorms and having an en suit was a dream. Kitchens are spacious and microwaves, kettles, ovens, hobs etc. as well as sofas and TVs! I stayed in these halls 2021/2021 and we did not have the bar, gym or bridge that was advertised to us, so I feel like we shouldn't have paid as much. It was disappointing to expect these facilities and be willing to pay that amount of money to then not have access to them for the entirety of the school year. Also, safety locks could be improved as sometimes the main building doors would just be open for anyone to walk in and there were some rumoured instances. However, I do feel it is better than most. Another point is that the delivery system needs to be better! We would receive an email saying our parcel had arrived and then the staff wouldn't be able to find them. Usually, they were actually there but put in the wrong place or not looked for properly.

Overall, i have socially enjoyed my experience at brighton uni so far as i have met lots of people. The academic side has been hard but really interesting at the same time. The support I have got from the uni has always been really helpful when its been tough.

The Library is standard, there are lots of literatures available to use all the time. You can borrow books up to a month at a time. There is a careers office available for those who need career advice. The gym holds a lot of different exercise classes.

The support is really good at Brighton university, the staff are always available to get advice, whether that's personal or work advice. Everyone has a personal tutor, which has been really helpful when it comes to essay based assignments because you can get them to go throught it.

I don't know a lot about student representation but the facilities at the university are pretty standard, with the gym and library. The library is a farely good size, but gets very busy occasionally.

yes, its in perfect distance only a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes of the bus. There are buses coming and going all the time therefore its easy to get transport to university. There is also an Aldi close by which is really handy for big shops.

There are lots of societies and sports to choose from, however most of the sports are at Falmer campus which is quite far away from where im located.

The most helpful tool from course is that all lecture slides are available on the university website therefore if I miss I lecture I can easily catch up. All lecturers tend to use PowerPoints in lectures, however i dont enjoy having 2 hour lectures because I find it hard to concintrate that long.

The university offers advice on placement years, and can get students in touch with big companies that the uni has previously worked with. The uni tends to help students with the CV to make them more employable and when it comes to applying for placement years or internships.
