The best aspects of my uni experience has been the place. I love York. I love the campus, I think it has such a nice feel to it. Both east and west campus, have lovely wildlife, and places to walk. The facilities that I use are lovely and modern, with great study spaces. The city itself is stunning, and I could spend all day in it and get lost in the small streets, wondering around, going into small little cafes etc. For me definitely the perfect place. The worst aspect of uni, is probably the buses. I'm not used to buses, never stepped foot on one till coming to uni, so I wasn't used to ho unpredictable they can be, and the long waits only for it to not turn up. But I don't think that has taken too much away from my overall experience.

The course content is amazing. i find it all really interesting. More so in second year because it is more tailored towards marketing, first year was very business based which was still relevant and necessary but for me just less interesting. There is more group work second year, which is nobody's favourite thing in the world but is an essential part of professional working, so I do value it. Some lecturers are amazing and go above and beyond what they need to, which I highly appreciate. Others do tend to just read of the slide and aren't very engaging. I think most of uni though however, is they will support you if you ask. I haven't really ever felt the need to ask, so I cannot say much about it in regards to that.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
I think it was fairly good value for money, but if I had my time again, I would have chosen shared bathroom. However, you could only have 8 people if sharing bathrooms, and I really liked having 12 people in the flat. It always felt busy, there was always someone in the kitchen, and I fortunately got on well with all of them. Such different personalities always kept it interesting as well, to make for an unforgettable first year. The location was good, close to the glasshouse, which was nice, and close to the campus east bus stop, which was also very handy. It was the best location I think to everything on East. Wifi was fine, never really had any problems, and the campus security were pretty on top of things, without taking away the fun.
