The careers service has great resources in helping you decided what role would suit and how to achieve that role with the best of your ability. However, some of the administration of the courses could be improved. For example, often the course marks are delayed for various reasons, impacting students stress levels and learning, making it harder to implement feedback.

There should be more emphasis on timely turnaround of marks/feedback.

University of Strathclyde has given me the opportunity on multiple occasions to find what I enjoy in my course and focus on that while still doing well academically. This is not something I have heard of at other universities. It means that my interests as a person can be reflected in my coursework and allows me to improve for future life.

I wish lecture slides were more detailed for revision and find that I learn more from tutorials and studying than I do from attending the lectures.

Careers department can help with CVs and internships and interview skills. Strath in general are always offering placements and internships.

It costs too much and the area is noisy. That is why I am currently moving a bit out of the city centre. Although the journey will be more difficult, the money saved and quiet is worth it.
