Tell us about your overall university experience so far.

As you can see I am so exited of my university so far. I love our beautiful campus, I can say that tutors are willing to do anything to help us get our degree. I love our Stockwell street library. When I am in library I am able to focus for hours which is in my case almost a miracle.

Facilities

How good are your university's facilities?

Our university is equipped with the best facilities it could be, our library especially and also is our school theatre.

Student support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

We have the best support we can. Tutors are always willing to help, we have also support centre in our libraries, so we can arrange an appointment and the support team can help us with anything- personal life, school life (essays, projects, tests), they can also help us with CV and anything related to getting a job.

Students' union

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

I have only good experiences with our SU, I am in Performing art’s society. And all student ambassadors are always kind and they try to help students as much as they can.

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

I have always lived in a big city. Prague is not as big as London of course, but the life here is pretty same.

Societies and Sports

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

We have many societies. I am in PA society as I said and I want to be part of business society also. So far they are great, but we knew that before thanks to welcome fair we had in the end of welcome week.

Lecturers and teaching quality

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

I like that we have both lectures in small groups and seminars in big theatres. I also like, that we have all informations on moodle. And we write only 3 tests per year which is really big difference than how it goes in my country! I am excited of our learning system at uni of Greenwich.

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

My uni has Career department, where we can come if we need any help with CV, for interview tips And support, or application form support. We also have Greenwich employability passport. We are getting points for attendance at extra workshops or seminars related to our course, or for getting part-time job relates to our course, internship and so on. In year one we have to get 80 points and in three years we have to get 200 points. We get rewards for getting those points and when we get 200 points university will give us GEP certificate and LinkedIn recommendation.
