Plenty of careers and networking events

So far I have loved my university experience. There is a great community feel within the halls which allows you to get to know everyone which you are living with. The social aspects of the university is great but also the academic facilities are very helpful and useful.

Excellent library with multiple different locations to study to suit the needs for everyone. Other building also include study areas meaning that it’s not hard to find a place to do work. The gyms all are all very well equipment with new machinery.

Great student union with loads of different events to suit everyone. Amazing that it is open multiple nights of the week for clubbing and it is seen as a safe place for students to go and with being on campus, it’s saves taxi fairs or walking which also increases safety.

With around a 15 minute walk to the far end of campus and a further 15 minute walk into town, the location is great. A 3 minute walk to the library and 10 minute to the gym. Also very close to a bus stop where you can catch the free campus shuttle or the town bus.

A range of societies for everyone and a variety of different sports. Sporting levels include AU(elite), IMS (Interhall) and My Lifestyle (Social). However, for some sports such as rugby, football etc, AU is highly competitive and if you do not manage to make any team, then opportunities to play become very limited.

What I like most is the tutorials and seminars which allow you the chance to ask questions and receive answer for worksheets which you have done. What I like the least is the 2 hours which are fully loaded with information because it becomes hard to process all the information which is given to you at once.

Certain schools have compulsory year in placements to encourage student to partake in professional employment and the gain experience in the working world.
